UCLA rebounds with win over CSUB
The UCLA men's basketball squad played the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners even in the first half after falling behind by as many as eleven points twice, tying the score at 35 all with a twelve point run to finish the first twenty minutes. The Bruins then ran away from Bakersfield in the second half, leading 60 to 42 with eight minutes left in the game before finally winning 75 to 64.
The Bruins finished with five players scoring in double figures and shot a much improved 59.3% for the game, including 63% in the second half. Drew Gordon was the leading scorer for the Bruins hitting on 8 for 10 shooting for 19 points.
Michael Roll had 12 points, shooting 5 for 11, and three players garnered 10 points, Malcolm Lee, Jerime Anderson and James Keefe.
