Another day in pads is another hit
The pads were on, the hits were made, the tempers flared and all was good in Westwood for Tuesday's practice. Though the defense is ahead, as they should be, it should be reassuring that the offense is making plays and that is a sign of a team that is maturing. Of course it spring the time of great optimism, but it seems from everyone who have come to practice whether it be recruits or fans see the same thing.
This team is getting better and there are signs of good things to come tough September and all.
Coach Rick Neuheisel as is customary made an opening statement and took questions after practice.
Neuheisel: "Good day fun to get out there and be live. There were plays where it looks ragged as it can be because we put in some new offensive stuff today and it is not quite up to speed so it looks like I mentioned ragged, but those are growing pains when you are trying things and experimenting through things.
