The UCLA Bruins (1-0) face the Pepperdine Waves (0-1) on Monday night at 8:00 in Pauley Pavilion in the first round of the NIT. The Bruins defeated Cal State Northridge 83-50 in their season opener while Pepperdine lost a heartbreaker on the road to Portland State 83-81 on Friday night.
