Virginia Tech preview
Mississippi State ventures away from the friendly confines of Humphrey Coliseum for the first time this year traveling down to the Bahamas to take on Virginia Tech in the Battle of the Atlantis at 7 p.m.
The Bulldogs are playing on foreign soil for the ninth time in school history and is 5-4 outside of the United States.
MSU and Virginia Tech meet on the hardwood for the ninth time with the Hokies leading 6-2. The Bulldogs won the last meeting in the series 71-65 in the 2004 Sugar Bowl Classic in New Orleans. The two teams are 1-1 in neutral site contests.
Today also marks the highly anticipated college debut of blue-chip forward Renardo Sidney for State.
