Snaer starting to consider official visits
Michael Snaer is one of the nation's elite in the Class of 2009. The California guard is rated as the No. 17 shooting guard and the No. 71 overall prospect in his class. But right now, recruiting isn't really his main concern.
Snaer's Moreno Valley Rancho Verde team moved on to the finals by beating Corono Santiago on Monday night. Rancho Verde is now 22-and-6 on the season. He is attracting attention from schools across the country with offers from Cal, Washington, USC, San Diego State and Missouri. He also has heavy interest from teams like Arizona and UCLA.
The Tigers and Snaer became familiar when the four-star guard came to Columbia for Mizzou's elite camp last summer.
The Tigers are certainly fighting this battle from long distance in comparison to the other schools on his list, but Snaer mentioned Mizzou along with Stanford and Arizona as schools that are likely to get official visits.
