| Wilson is an above-average straight-line athlete who can run and makes plays in pursuit. He gets a deep drop in zone coverage down the middle of the field and can close on the ball quickly underneath. But he lacks ideal fluidity, gets too narrow with his footwork when asked to turn and run and struggles to quickly redirect in space. He isn't overly instinctive at the line of scrimmage and struggles to take on blocks inside. Wilson is easily sealed away from the ball and gets too high on contact to quickly stack and shed. He showcases good range sideline to sideline but looks more like a reserve and special teams guy at the next level. | Scouting report provided by National Football Post. |
