Bulldogs finding their rhythm

Rick Stansbury likes the way his team is playing right now and who can blame him.

Mississippi State has won nine straight games by an average margin of nearly 23 points a contest and went undefeated during the month of December.

"I think we've got a little rhythm," Stansbury said. "I don't think it's all been perfect but we have gotten better through playing experience. I think the more people play those roles and some teams we match-up differently with personnel during that game. Different situations during the game require different people in there. I think we've done pretty good so far."

The Bulldogs will put their winning steak on the line tonight traveling to Bowling Green, Ky., to take on Western Kentucky for their final non-conference game of the regular season.

MSU defeated the Hilltoppers 95-67 last season in Starkville by tying a then school record 14 3-pointers in the process.

But Stansbury, a Kentucky native, understand what a task his squad has ahead of it tonight at the E.A. Diddle Arena.
