It is Marquette time!

January 4, 2011 - Tonight at 7p, Georgetown hosts Marquette, a tilt featuring America's ninth and 20th ranked collegiate teams, respectively. TV viewing is made available by ESPNU, while the local radio broadcast is per ESPN 980AM. As usual, the venue is D.C.'s Verizon Center.

In anticipation of this evening's game, members of the Georgetown Hoya men's team (12-1, 2-0 in the BIG EAST) convened at the school's McDonough Arena for media day, Tuesday. Topics for the school's head coach, John Thompson III included what to expect out of a pair of Marquette (12-2, 1-0) players, Darius Johnson-Odom and Jae Crowder specifically, and the Golden Eagles generally.

He also chimed in on the play of his players Jabril Trawick, Tyler Adams, Otto Porter and Markel Starks, the team's competitiveness/season, rankings impact, and shooting versus Providence on Saturday, a 49-40 Hoya win.
