Dawgs come back home

Most recently, the Bulldogs lost a 69-47 de¬cision at Ole Miss last Saturday. After contend¬ing early and staying within arm's reach until halftime, Georgia succumbed by allowing the Rebels an 11-0 run to begin the final period. The Bulldogs shot a season-low 25 percent from the field in this game. In fact, since they blis¬tered the nets at 57 percent clip against Florida 11 days ago, they've recorded their two lowest percentages of the season.

The Series

Wednesday's game is the 128th all-time meeting between these two schools in basket¬ball. Vanderbilt leads the series, which began in 1914 and has been renewed annually since 1951, by an 80-47 count. The Commodores are currently riding a 4-game win streak in this series. Georgia hasn't swept Vanderbilt in the regular-season series since 2001. Georgia resumes the SEC schedule this Sunday at Arkansas. The Bulldogs will attempt to avoid going winless against the West for the first time since the league expanded and was pared into divisions in 1991-92.

Milestone for Woodbury

The lone highlight for Georgia was a game-high 19 point by Terrance Woodbury. The team's lone 4-year senior, Woodbury became the 39th player in school history to score 1,000 career points when he scored on a follow shot at the 6:32 mark of the second half.
